The opening ceremony of the Qatar-UAE Super Cup in football featured a 9-minute show with laser graphics, mapping, beam effects and fireworks. All lasers were the main element of the whole event. The main task was to show the possibilities of laser technology as the main element of the entire show. The event was in cooperation with Qvision Productions at Al Thumama Stadium in Qatar.
The main idea and task were to portray the friendship between 2 countries (Qatar and the UAE), and an effort to point out the similarities and differences in their culture (fishing, pearl collection, falconry, hospitality, cities...). Same but different.
